Donate Food - Donate Time - Donate Money
Food, time and money. It’s what our donors so generously provide. All are equally important. All contribute to and support the success of our mission.
A donation to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is a valuable gift, whatever form it may take. Consider one of these easy ways to help.
Financial contributions – both of the individual and corporate variety – allow us to continue expanding our mission to reach underserved populations and locations. You may choose to give every month or only when your budget allows. Every donation is a gift that we value and every dollar makes a difference. For every $1 received, we can distribute 6 meals to individuals in need.
You may also want to consider donating in several other ways. Consider building a legacy for future giving by including the Food Bank in your estate planning process. Perhaps you wish to honor or remember someone special with a gift to the Food Bank in his or her name. We will send a congratulatory letter to the honoree or a memorial letter to the next of kin.
Make a Donation
The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank receives 2 million pounds per month. These donations help make it possible for the Food Bank to distribute food to 40,000 individuals each and every week. Last year, more than 17 million pounds of food was moved through our main warehouse in Harrisburg and more than 2 million pounds moved through our facility in Williamsport.

Our volunteers make our mission of reducing hunger possible. During 2010, more than 2,000 volunteers gave approximately 20,000 hours of their time to help their neighbors in need. Volunteer opportunities range from helping with the packaging and distribution process, taking part in a food drive, or giving your time and expertise by serving as a board or committee member.
