A simple meal of soup and bread paired with an empty take-home pottery bowl serve as a reminder the historical food offering at “soup kitchens” and the numerous unfilled bowls of people facing food insecurity today. Guest can enjoy four varieties of soup, bread, and dessert and select a handcrafted  pottery bowl to take home from the event. 

To be held at the Radisson Hotel Harrisburg on Monday, March 17, 2014, the St. Patrick’s Day-themed event also includes live entertainment and a raffle and silent auction. Limited edition commemorative Central Pennsylvania Food Bank bowls, designed and crafted by a different local artist each year, will be available for purchase or pick up, if ordered in advanced.
