April is National Volunteer Month and we are celebrating all month long. Last year, more than 3,000 volunteers donated more than 32,000 hours of time, packing boxes, sorting produce, stocking shelves and more! Volunteers truly are our superheroes.
All month long, we are recognizing volunteers on bulletin boards, giving out fun treats and gifts, and just taking an extra amount of time to say “THANK YOU!” Volunteers are the soul of our operation and we truly could not do what we do without their help. In early April, our Executive Director, Joe Arthur, was on the local television show Good Day PA to say “thank you!” Check out the clip at the link below.
