OUR HEALTHY FOOD HUBS

Our three facilities in Harrisburg, Hollidaysburg, and Williamsport are known as our Healthy Food Hubs.

Our Healthy Food Hubs were planned and constructed to serve the entire community: helping those who have resources connect with those who need resources.

Two Healthy Food Hubs

The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank distributed over 70 million pounds of food last year. Once received, the food is weighed, inventoried and then made available to various programs and partner agencies.

A Day at the Food Bank

A time-lapse of 12 hours of volunteer activity in our Harrisburg Healthy Food Hub. We serve nearly 268,000 individuals each month in the 27 county service area.

VOLUNTEER ACTION CENTER

The activity area is where volunteers sort and pack food. This includes sorting donated goods, inspecting food acceptable for distribution, and packing boxes for our partners, monthly senior and military programs and backpacks.

COMMUNITY LEARNING KITCHEN

Our community learning kitchen is a collaborative space to accommodate activities to engage the general public, community partners, and government officials in nutrition education and anti-hunger advocacy efforts.

NORTHERN DAUPHIN FOOD PANTRY

The Northern Dauphin Food Pantry, a program facilitated by the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, is supported by grants from Dauphin County Human Services, the State Food Purchase Program, The Emergency Food Assistance Program, and local donors.
