give Food

Donate Food. Nourish Our Neighbors.

Food donations help the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank provide fresh produce, healthy proteins, dairy and other nutritious foods to neighbors throughout central Pennsylvania. Whether you represent a food business, farm or community group, there are ways to put good food to good use.

Food With A Purpose

Good Food Belongs on Tables, Not in Landfills.

Through partnerships with farms, food producers, retailers and other organizations, the Food Bank rescues and distributes millions of pounds of nutritious food each year. These donations help strengthen the supply of fresh and healthy foods available through our network of community partners.

Ways to Give Food

What Would You Like to Donate?

Food donations can take many forms. Whether you have a large quantity of food from a business, a smaller community donation, or extra produce from your garden, we’ll help you find the right way to give.

Food Industry Donations

For farms, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, food service companies and other organizations with larger quantities of wholesome food.

Community Food Donations

Have a smaller amount of wholesome food to donate? Food may be dropped off at our Harrisburg or Williamsport Healthy Food Hubs following our donation guidelines.

Homegrown Produce

Grow extra fruits, vegetables or herbs? Through Adopt a Pantry, gardeners can share homegrown produce with participating local food pantries.

An Easier Way To Give

Planning a Food Drive? Go Virtual.

A Virtual Food Drive gives your company, school, organization or community a simple way to support the Food Bank without collecting or transporting physical food. Participants can “shop” online while their contributions give the Food Bank flexibility to source the foods our neighbors need most.
