Rural hunger is a pressing issue that affects many of our neighbors in the Allegheny Mountain region. To combat this, we are launching “The Bold Journey … until no one is hungry,” a fundraising campaign to support the new Healthy Hub in Hollidaysburg, Pa. This expansion is a vital step for the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank as we strive to bridge the hunger gap in all communities that we serve.

This small and mighty Hub will significantly boost healthy food distribution and local food sourcing, directly benefiting Blair and surrounding counties. The Hub will enhance our capacity to provide nutritious food, thanks to a federal infrastructure grant that funds state-of-the-art industrial freezers and coolers.
